Terms of Service
Effective date: 5 October 2026.
These terms govern your use of the official PICKET instance: the Discord application "PICKET" and the site docs.picket-foxhole.com. By adding the bot to a server or using its commands, you accept them. If you do not accept them, remove the bot and do not use it.
1. The service
PICKET is a free, non-commercial Discord bot for Foxhole communities. It currently provides todo lists, per-server permissions and settings, and data management commands. Other features may be added, changed or removed over time.
PICKET is an independent community project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Siege Camp or Discord. "Foxhole" and related names, art and data belong to Siege Camp or its licensors.
2. Who may use it
- You must follow the Discord Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines and the Developer Policy.
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by the laws of your country if higher.
- Only a server administrator or a person authorised to manage the server may add the bot. That person is responsible for informing the members of their server about it.
3. What you may not do
- Use PICKET for anything illegal, to harass or harm others, or in breach of Discord's rules.
- Put in a todo list content that is unlawful, hateful or that infringes the rights of others.
- Try to bypass permissions, rate limits or suspensions, probe or attack the service, or access another server's data.
- Overload the service with automated or abusive use.
- Resell the service or offer it as a paid service. The source code is licensed under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0.
4. Your content and your data
You keep all rights over the content you write. PICKET only uses it to display it back to you in the channel you chose. How personal data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
Server administrators can erase their server's data at any time with /picket data delete, and removing the bot starts the same erasure after the retention period.
5. Availability and changes
The service is provided on a best-effort basis, with no guarantee of availability, no support level and no guaranteed retention of data other than as stated in the Privacy Policy. Updates are deployed without interruption when possible, but maintenance or failures may occur.
6. Suspension
The operator may restrict or remove access for a server or a user who breaks these terms or Discord's rules, or to protect the service, with or without notice. Server data is then handled as stated in the Privacy Policy.
7. Warranty and liability
To the extent allowed by law, PICKET is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, and the operator is not liable for indirect damages or for losses caused by the use or unavailability of the service, including a missed task in a todo list or a lost message. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Reporting a problem
To report abuse, a security issue or a violation of these terms or of Discord's rules, open an issue on github.com/NapoSky/picket/issues. For anything sensitive, use a private security report. Reports are reviewed and acted on.
9. Changes to these terms
The terms may change. The date at the top is updated and the history is public in the repository. Continuing to use PICKET after a change means you accept it.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Disputes fall under the courts of France, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers in their country of residence.
